“to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ,” (Ephesians 4:12)

Ephesians 4:12 teaches that our responsibility is to equip God’s people to do His work and to build up the church, the body of Christ.

For years well intentioned men and women have tried their best  to help each generation of young people to commit to Christ and remain faithful. Sadly enough pizza parties, lazer tag, christian concerts, and lock-ins have led to a sad statistic that 97% of young people who claim to be a Christian don’t believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. So that’s why I believe our responsibility as youth pastors is to equip this generation to make disciples of all nations. Know this, that young people are not the future of the church-they are  the church. I encourage you to target this generation and the next.
